A Father's Sacrifice

Once, there was a man who was a supervisor of a housing company. He had good salary and lived nicely. There in the company, a woman, who was a clerk processor, was assigned to the supervisor. Not soon, they had a relationship that resulted to marriage, the woman bore a son who was to be born on the 29th of January.

Things could not get better for the two couple. Most importantly, they were happy with each other, until the manager assigned the soon-to-be-father to a far away place for a housing development there. The man thought about it and came with an answer.

The next day, the man approached the manager and told him flatly, no! He told him that he would not give up his family for a job. The manager replied to him that it was his last chance, or he would not maintain his job. Still, the man said,"no".

He resigned in his mid-40's. His son was born on the date that was told, it was his first son. But still, he did not worry about anything. Another baby was born on the 14th of November three years later, his little baby daughter.

Years passed and he developed hyperacidity, a disease of the stomach. Still, he was happy. Although only relying on his wife and his sister for income, he, and his family, were happy.

The dates might sound familiar, this is because I am the son and the man, my dad, the wife, my mother, the second, is my little sister. And still we are living a happy life.
